Sustainable Products

Centurion Stone provides today's construction industry with a durable, high quality product that last for 50 plus years. Centurions products, once installed, are maintenance free. There is no need for paint, sealers or harsh cleaning products to maintain the esthetic appearance of natural stone. Centurion products are lighter than natural stone, yet our product maintains a PSI rating stronger than brick and natural stone. In fact, we meet the strictest code requirements of the UBC and CCMC.

Conserving Resources

Centurion Stone will continually maintain our goal to manufacture a product that is resilient for decades without depleting the natural resources needed for future generations.

• Raw Materials - 90% of raw materials supplied regionally reducing fuel cost in shipping.
   

• Light Weight - Weighs less than natural stone allowing more square footage shipped, reducing fuel consumption which helps reduce greenhouse gases.
   

• Man/Hand Made - Centurion Stone is produced by hand from filling molds, to extracting and packaging. Stone kilns generate energy costs in the production process.

Recyclable Contents

• Packaging - Packaging is made from 35% recycled materials. Packaging is 100% recyclable from the jobsite. Currently 25% of our packaging is returned to the plant.
   

• Production Mold - Centurion's mold process implements a closed loop system that allows for the re-use of hot melt rubber. This saves in production of raw materials used when making new molds.
   

• Coloring - Iron Oxide colors are produced from recycled Iron. Generally the recycled content is 60%.
   

• Production Waste - Currently 80% of the scraps created through manufacturing are used in construction site fill and diverted from landfills.
